Not have to use the horrible Port a san under the Throggs neck bridge and have a place to bring youngsters to play outdoors.

So that students of Dock Street Middle School, and pre k school can cross safely; A speed bump, traffic signals and crosswalk pavement markings are necessary. https://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeaction/948/034/734/

enjoy the neighborhood more. There is trash debris on the sidewalks and overflowing trash cans on Austin St in Forest Hills.
Mar
So the elderly and people with disabilities could just press a button to open the front door.
Mar
save money on their water bills and enjoy cleaner surrounding water. Rain water should not go into the combined sewer system. It should just go into the ground.

Fixing Ponding at Several Intersections So that people could use the intersections without wearing hip boots. The water on these corners does not drain, leaving puddles that remain year-round. The puddles obstruct walking and are breeding grounds for mosquitos. We propose that the DoT fix the ponding problem at some of these corners. The corners are: 98th St. and Broadway (NW corner), 89th St. and Amsterdam Ave (SE corner), 84th St. and Columbus ave. (SE corner), 82nd St. and Columbus (SE corner), 78th St. and Columbus (NE corner), 81st St. and Coumbus NE and SE corners), 75th and Columbus (NW corner), and/or 72nd St. and Central Park West (NE corner).

In the summer Jackson Houses experience frequent blackouts in the summer. We stay without electricity for long periods of time which is also dangerous to the community. We sometimes have generators outside the buildings but what is really needed are upgrades to our electrical systems so we don't continue to experience power outages for long periods of time.

Many people cannot afford to join private gyms. This project would enable all the people in the area access to modern, weatherproof equipment.
Mar
Properly exercise their dogs, which would leave cleaner streets, happier pets and pet owners.
Mar
Enjoy the park & outdoors without having to step on dog poop or marijuana nickel bags. Enjoy a lawn that should exist yet doesn't!!! Clean up the dirt, mold and grime that is always there.

o that seniors can have new computers, laptops, tablets to keep up with new technologies. Also, seniors with wheelchairs and walkers need an electrical door at the entrance to Senior Planet.
Mar
The eye sore news boxes are a first amendment right. We would like financing for a multirack boxes like the ones in business improvement districts in midtown. One would be placed in front of the new Trader Joes at 93rd and Columbus and the other in front of Starbucks at 86th and Columbus
Mar
Get around by bike safely without worrying about getting killed like the Australian tourist last month at 67th and CPW. CPW is an awful design and instead of lining it with parked cars owned by a minority of NYers, the curb space should be opened up for all to use.
Mar
Have activities for them to do after school. This would give them opportunities to do more things to do near their home that are near home.
Mar
Launch boats and jet skis utilizing parking that is already there for trailers and cars. Bayside Marina has a ramp that is useless at low tide with no legal parking for trailers.
Mar
could actually use this space that is often covered with bird feces. This space could be very nice, there is a Citi bike rack and some greenery, but often times the sidewalk is covered with bird poop. A very small financial investment to keep birds away and thus poop would be great.
Mar
Altho many people clean up after their dogs there is still residue and urine on building that smell bad in the summer. "Curb Your Dog" signs and campaign should improve that. And bicycles on the sidewalks are just dangerous many go too fast.
Mar
enjoy a clean neighborhood. Our neighborhood is getting more busy especially with all the concerts. There are no trash cans around and we need more trash cans to clean the area. There is always trash right after a concert but how can we expect people to be clean if there are no trash cans around?

Safely cross the street at Columbus and 110th. It is a major intersection with turning trucks and buses and is a scary place for children, the elderly and parents who want to cross safely without dodging aggressive drivers. It's a good place to add a protected intersection with large sidewalk bulbouts, more concrete that safely routes drivers through the space and gives pedestirans even more safe space to stand and narrows the distance to cross the street.
Mar
Have a place to sit for a minute and have a cleaner and greener street, especially with the higher foot traffic from Trader Joe’s.
Mar
Not be terrorized by speeding drivers coming down Morningside Ave that then aggressively merge into traffic at the stop sign and then stop light at 113th st during morning traffic when families are walking their children to school. This is an awful use of street space and is a major pinch point because 2 major streets converge into 1 which slows down all the buses on Manhattan Ave. Pedestrianize the area for children, elderly, families and cyclists to enjoy safer spaces outside.
Mar
Relax and enjoy the weather after church on Sunday or after school with friends on their way home. The space could be purchased from Con Edison and beautified with benches, table games, and greenery for leisure.
